Cristóbal Niña is a premium spirit drink from the Dominican Republic tropically aged for 8 and 12 years in ex-Bourbon cask. Niña was one of three ships used by Christopher Columbus on his first journey over the Atlantic Ocean in 1492. The other two ships were Pinta and Santa Maria. The ship was named Santa Clara but was nicknamed Niña. The ship followed Columbus on several of his adventures towards America. Due to the mutiny in the colony and the lack of funds, Columbus had to sell the ship. The ship’s destiny is unknown.
